My Story

From a young age I joined my Dad commercial gill-netting salmon on the Fraser River and up the west coast of BC. As an adult, I used my electrical and propulsion education working for Zodiac Hurricane in Delta. I renewed my love of the ocean with this job as sea trials had me jumping ferry wakes and exploring the Strait of Georgia. Life led me away from the ocean for a few years but I found my way back – making a home in Parksville, BC. Since then, boats and fishing have been a part of my daily life. Through building and servicing boats I have gained a considerable amount of knowledge and expertise that I now bring to marine surveying. If I’m not working on a boat there’s a good chance you’ll catch me talking about them in conversation – that is unless I’m out fishing and focused on the lines in the water.
